Thrissur: In honor of Mahatma Gandhi’s 156th birth anniversary, a march for world peace was held at Swaraj Round in Thrissur today, attracting widespread participation. The peaceful procession commemorated Gandhiji's enduring legacy of non-violence and unity, with 400 volunteers joining the march to promote his message of global harmony.
After the march, the volunteers gathered in quiet reflection, sitting for an hour to listen to the prayers that were dear to Gandhiji, including his favorite hymns and devotional songs. The event was a solemn reminder of Gandhi’s timeless principles and a call for peace in a world that often faces discord.
This celebration at Swaraj Round, Thrissur, highlighted the continued relevance of Gandhian values, inspiring the attendees to carry forward his mission of non-violence and peace.
