Trivandrum: The Alpha Palliative Care Walkathon 2024 began with great fanfare in Trivandrum today. The event, which aims to raise awareness about palliative care services, was flagged off from Kanakakunnu Palace by Hon. Antony Raju, MLA and Former Minister of Kerala Government. His presence energized the participants as they embarked on the walk through the heart of the city. The walkathon concluded at VJT Hall, Palayam, where the Scion of the Travancore Royal Family, Aswathi Thirunal Gowri Lakshmi Bayi Thampuratti, addressed the gathering as the Chief Guest. Her speech resonated deeply with the students and attendees, emphasizing the importance of community participation in palliative care.
